Fighting FIP

Donation protected
This is Jack Jack. He is between 5-6months old .. Ryan Hunter and I adopted him at the beginning of the year (along with his brother Dash) for Hunter to have the responsibility of chores and taking care of an animal. For ALL of Jack Jack’s life, he has taken care of his brother and we were told that they would NOT be separated upon adoption. We fell in love and welcomed them both into our home. Recently, Jack Jack hasn’t been eating very well.. his voice is weak, he currently only weighs about 6lbs (his brothers about 14lbs).. he doesn’t want to play anymore, you can see his bones and his fur is mangy. We took him to the vet this morning and they felt they needed to draw blood and run xrays to confirm if he has what they’re thinking .. Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) It’s a viral disease in cats that attacks the cells of the intestinal wall. There is an 88.9% fatality rate and the procedure with injections will cost us OOP about $5000. We have already tried getting approved through care credit and have been denied.
