Help Aquinette Secure Food & Housing
Donation protected
This fund was started in hopes of raising funds to get Aquinette, a young black woman, off the streets of Madison, WI. Homeless individuals, specifically homeless black womxn, face unprecedented hardships. Aquinette has been sleeping on benches and at bus stops all while trying to attain funds to secure safe housing.
She has found a place to stay which will cost $450.00 per month, I have also added a sum of $200 per month for food costs. The amount we hope to raise through GoFundMe will help her secure housing and food for the next six months.
While six months will help her back on her feet, I strongly suggest long-term donations directly to Aquinette overtime. Our hope with Madison Black Reparations, is to solve the homelessness crisis, not just push the crisis to a later date.
Thank you all so much for taking the time to read, understand Aquinette's story, and donate to end the homelessness crisis. Black womxn are crucial to the future of equality, and you are taking fundamental steps toward a just future.
(I am in the process of setting up a Venmo account. With the Venmo I will transfer all donation funds directly to Aquinette on a weekly basis. The prioritization of Venmo is that they do not charge transaction and donation fees for every donation given. I will update this page once the account has been created. Thank you all so much again, we all deeply thank you and are grateful for your decision to help Aquinette of the streets).
