Hurricane relief for South Lafourche friends

My name is Eddie Jenkins. Fifty years ago this fall I had the honor of being a member of the Winnfield Tiger football team. We played South Lafourche in the Class AAA state championship. The Tarpons won that game by a score of 10-0. As heartbreaking as that loss was, several friendships between former Winnfield players and former South Lafourche players developed and have been maintained over the past decades.

In August, 2021 Hurricane Ida devastated Lafourche parish and the surrounding area. A couple of us have been in contact with our South Lafourche friends and the stories we hear are heartbreaking. We feel a strong desire to help.

This fund will be used to assist with basic needs for our friends and their families
