Help Kyle Beat a Very Rare Cancer

Donation protected
Kyle is an 18yr old high school student preparing to begin his senior year. He had been complaining about leg and back pain, so his father took him to the doctor who ordered an MRI. The results of the MRI showed that Kyle had several tumors growing on his brain and spine.

On April 10, 2016 Kyle was admitted to the University of New Mexico Hopsital where, four days later, Kyle had a biopsy and PET scan which confirmed his diagnosis of Myxopapillary Ependymoma Metatasic stage 1, a very rare form of cancer. Kyle is currently the third known case in the US, and he has the highest number of tumors thus far.

Kyle had surgery, April 21, 2016, to remove the cancerous tumors. He was transferred to a rehabilitation facility, May 9th, in order to help him relearn how to walk. After more than a month in hospital, Kyle was finally able to go home on May 21, 2016.

Kyle still has a very long road ahead of him. He begins radiation cancer treatment on June 9, 2016. Currently, Kyle is getting aound with the help of a wheelchair. He's a happy kid who tries to stay as positive as possible.

As a single parent Kyle's father, Aaron, is tasked with taking care of Kyle, keeping on top of the medical bills, and raising two kids.

With your help, and that of his friends and family, we can make sure that Kyle gets the medical care he needs.

Thank you in advance for your help.
