Hello dear friends and family!
Where do I even start?
I've been so blessed to have spent a whole year here, in Sydney, Australia, and I know I could not have done it without all of your prayers and never-ending support.
I'm here, after a long time of deliberation and swallowing of my pride, in full vulnerability, to ask for your support and help once again.
Due to the limited amount of hours I am allowed to work as a student, EXPENSIVE living situations, and the unforeseen event of literally breaking a leg within the first month of arriving, I am in need of help. Within these circumstances, I make enough to get by on a weekly basis - paying rent/bills, tithing, buying food, and paying for public transport, but have been unable to put aside money to save up and pay for my tuition.
Most of you have supported me last year as I began to plan to live in Australia for the next 4.5 years, and I am eternally grateful. Your loving and generous support has lasted me one whole year of tuition, two surgeries, and provided me with enough to get by until I was able to get back on my feet and start working. Thank you for being The Church and showering me with love and support.
I've been blessed with the opportunity to be part of some unbelievable teams while serving here in Hillsong Church. I am part of the Creative Technologies team for Young&Free (Hillsong City Youth WildLife), Vocal Team Oversight for our 2nd Year Chapel, as well as being involved with making church happen every week over at our Chatswood Extension Service as we rent out a theatre at the cinemas and set up early in the morning and pack down once service is over. (Reminiscent of our Anaheim Convention Center days for you Hanaro folks)
My life has been changed, forever, for the better. I have a better understanding of how a church functions and how it is only a tiny miniscule speck in the big full picture of The Church. I have learned to follow dreams and have passions and desires and express them in ways I didn't know how to before. During my short time here in Oz, I've become a photographer, a better musician, a pastor, and I know my time here is not yet over. I believe there are things I have yet to learn, and things God has yet to show me.
My ultimate goal, after my time here in Australia, is to come back home to Los Angeles and build a network that would connect and unite the local churches of SoCal. Regardless of denomination and culture and background, I believe as The Church, The Bride of Christ, we have a common goal and need to support one another instead of compete against each other. God has placed a small glimpse of this vision in my heart and am excited to see what is to come of it as I continue my education here at Hillsong International Leadership College.
If you are well able and willing, I am in need of tons of prayer as well as monetary support to pay off my first semester fees. Any amount is appreciated and valued. I am currently placed under suspension due to being unable to pay my tuition fees according to the payment plan we had placed at the beginning of the semester; so, really, any amount helps in the biggest way.
Would you pray with me for a fresh revelation and steadfast strength as I finish off this semester?
