My name is Nathan Caulford. I am a photographer. I have a 15-year old friend, Irfan, in Pakistan who I am mentoring. I met him through an acquaintance from Pakistan who lives here in the U.S. now. We're trying to get him here to the U.S. for college after he graduates high school. His dream is to study engineering.
Right now things are as urgent as it gets. Irfan’s mother, Yasmeen, has been ill for the last few months. She went in for tests, which Irfan’s uncle was able to pay for. She was diagnosed with breast cancer on March 13th. Without a mastectomy surgery, she will certainly die. WE are her best chance at survival, and we have an opportunity to save her life.
TIME IS OBVIOUSLY OF THE ESSENCE!!! We are racing against time. Please help me spread this message faster than the cancer can spread.
We are so blessed. In many parts of the world, including Pakistan, if you don't have the money, you just die. That's it. Not even morphine to make it easier. Our goal is to raise $10,000 for her treatment. This is a fraction of the cost of similar treatment here in the United States, and all money raised will go directly to the cost of medical treatment
