kodas eye operation

Hi my name is koda I am a Hungarian viszla x lab and will be 4 in September. I was out playing with my toys and started bumping into thing's. Dad took me to the vet and after 3 visits they said I have 
 Advanced cataracts and will need an operation to fix them. As things are just now we still go out for walks but they are really quite frightening as with not being able to see properly hearing and smell are my main senses but if it is windy or busy when we are out I am easily scared and spooked . We don't know how this has happened as they say it is something that normally happens to older dogs but im told it should be easily fixed so long as we get the right treatment before things get any worse. The  dog aid society for Scotland has very kindly offered some assistance but it comes with a 9 month deadline. I would be very grateful for any assistance to help get my sight back so that I can see the world around me and stop being so scared at things I'm not sure of .
