Layla's Washington DC Internship

Hi Everyone! I have recently been accepted to the Institute on Economics and International Affairs. This program allows me to take courses on economics and government through George Mason University this summer. I will also be interning for international policy groups and embassies in Washington DC. I am super excited for this program, but of course great opportunities come with great expenses. The cheapest option (selecting the lowest amount of course credits) is $7,495. I applied for financial aid through the programs director and was blessed to receive a $4,000 grant. The left over $3,495 is still a gap I am having trouble coming up with. I plan to use the money I make from work to help pay, but I am still a full time student, and busy with ROTC. I need to come up with the money before the end of May.
I was super excited to be accepted because the connections I will make will hopefully land me a job in the future! I have read so many good reviews from other students that it is setting my hopes up high! I have always dreamed of working for an international organization so that I can help others in the future and this will give me the experiance I need to get my foot in the door.
