Puerto Rico Hurricane Maria Relief

My name is José (Pepe) López – from Puerto Rico, now residing with my wife and children in Indianapolis, IN. My parents and sister (and her family), as well as many extended family and friends, still live in Puerto Rico.

Hurricane Maria has devastated our beautiful and little island! Our hearts break to hear and see the destruction and suffering this storm has brought to our loved ones in our cherished island.

Many of our friends have asked how they can help. For this reason, we have created this fund. My parents, Carlos and Lydia López, a couple with big servant hearts and integrity, will personally assess the situation of those with HIGHEST needs within the extended family, their church and immediate neighborhood and will personally distribute the resources raised.

We are raising money for the following:
Electric generators
Help the elderly with the removal of trees, poles, debris and clean-up
Gas for electric generators and gas stoves
Battery operated radios and fans
Batteries (lots of them needed)
Bottled water
Medication
Food – non-perishable items
Mosquito repellant

All donated items will be strictly accounted for by my parents and all financial information will be available to any donor, as requested.
