Heiert Zipter Fam Flood Recovery

Donation protected
Cami Heiert Zipter, a 1987 graduate of Highlands High School in Fort Thomas, currently lives in Houston, Texas with her husband and children. Cami and the kids are safe from the flooding thanks to members of their church who used a jet ski and kayak to get them out. Her husband Rudi stayed behind with the cats and dog so the rescuers could help people in more need. There is several feet of water in their home. Cami was able to save the "irreplaceable" items but they have lost pretty much everything else. The furniture is ruined and the house will need tons of work. Theircars, including their teenage daughter's (only had liability) are a complete loss. Unfortunately the family does not have flood insurance. FEMA will help but won't cover everything. They are currently staying with a friend. Money raised will go toward repairing the home, possibly replacing vehicles, purchasing furniture, basic living expenses and anything else insurance does not cover or the family needs immediately.
My husband Nick and I have set up this account to help the Zipter Family. All of the money raised will be given to them. Nick graudated with Cami and I was in MOMS Club of Florence with Cami when our children were small (before I ever knew Nick).
Remember that every dollar helps.
Thank you.
