My name is Brittany and I am a single mother to 3 beautiful children. I worked hard, non stop, since I was 15. I'm putting my pride aside as I am on the verge of losing my home of 6 years. I'm not a stranger to hard times and I've always been able to find the strength to get myself and my children through any situation. Sadly, this one is bigger than me.
On Friday, April 28, 2017, I came home from work to find out my boyfriend of 3 years, walked out on us for another woman. He blended perfectly with my older children and made my family whole again. He became my best friend, the one I turned to for love and support. But what I thought was a perfect addition to complete my family was nothing more than a man deceiving the people that loved him. Not only did he leave me brokenhearted, but he left me drowning in debt and left to support 3 children on my own. I have been working PT for almost a year since my daughter was born. I have called all neighborhood service centers for support but they are at capacity until May 15th. Unfortunately, I don't have that much time as I have to pay rent again by the 15th. I will now be behind 2 months. I have $200 saved and will have another paycheck on May 12th, however, it will not cover rent. I was able to pay my lights and water, just not the rent.
I have already lost my furniture to Rent-A-Center, I just don't want to lose our home. Everything else can be replaced.
I don't party, drink, smoke or do drugs. I am a mom and a teacher and my family is my life.
I hate to ask for help this way but I am out of options. Please, anything helps.
