Helping the Dogs of Puerto Rico

Second Chance of Puerto Rico was established back in 2000 in an effort to help save, nurture, and rehabilitate the abandon dogs of Puerto Rico to try to find their forever homes. With the recent devastation that the hurricanes had brought to the island it has been extremely difficult to get supplies in and the cost for transport to attempt to rescue any animals has been difficult to cover costs to care of the dogs that have already been rescued.

With upwards of 90 dogs and counting waiting for their forever homes any amount can help to make a difference. Plans are currently being made to bring up as many dogs as we can to help lessen the burden on those trying to rebuild so we are in desperate need for donations, fosters, or potential adopters looking to add to their family.

Any questions regarding what you can do to help can be directed to [email redacted] for volunteer or foster opportunities. Any little bit helps.

Thank you for everything you do!
