Eric Morton is a father of 3, beloved by his wife Melissa, and the son of Candy and Harry Morton. Last week he was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), which is also known as "childhood" Leukemia. ALL is more rare in adults, and also a lot more difficult to treat. Eric started chemotherapy last week and it is currently not determined how long he will be hospitalized for. The doctors are working hard to help Eric battle this awful diagnosis. So far Eric has undergone two bone biopsies, two plasma injections, several CT scans, and four rounds of chemotherapy. Because of this sudden illness he has had to put his employment and family on hold.
Even with insurance Eric's extensive stay at the hospital and his inability to work will impact his family tremendously. Finances will become a hardship and the hardship will become a burden.
As Eric continues to seek a cure he will worry about how to make ends meet for his family.
