Katie kicks Chiari's Ass

Our dear friend Katie needs all of our help! You may know her as @cms_sucks_ass on Instagram. "CMS" stands for Chiari Malformation Syndrome. It's a pretty nasty disease that affects everyday living- and already has taken so much from this loving, smart, and funny, mom and friend. Katie had her right knee replaced on Monday, August 7th. She was supposed to have a four day hospital stay, but due to insurance they are requiring her to stay 6 WEEKS because the price of the antibiotics are upwards of $33,000!! Katie is a single mom of two kids. As it's nearly impossible for her to work outside her home already, I'd really like to help her even a little bit. Just to ease her mind a little while she tries to recover. Chiari patients recover at a much slower rate than most patients, because of the natural consequences of this disease. It could take Katie weeks and months to get back on her feet. The last thing she should be worrying about right now, is money and the stress that comes with this.
