2nd Annual PBHC Conference
Donation protected
Money raised will be used to help fund the 2nd annual Philadelphia Black History Collaborative conference. In order to build from the success we had during last year's conference, we are seeking to raise more funds to make certain the vent is free and open to all people interested in attending throughout the city of Philadelphia. The coference will be held on Febraury 10, 2018 at Kensington CAPA High School.
This year's theme is:
Youth-Driven Solutions: Student Ownership of Education and Community Issues
The Philadelphia Black History Collaborative is dedicated to affirm and propagate the essential function of the study of Black History as a liberatory endeavor in both academic and grassroots communities. Building on the work of the ancestors and elders, at the core of our mission is the goal of controlling the Black history narrative and ensuring that generations of Black students are exposed to transformative content that uplifts the power of resistance, self determination, and righteous accomplishments.
All donations from individuals or organizations over 200 dollars will be official recognized at the conference and on the conference program if desired.
Thank you for helping us to truly create a productive space to carry on the traditions of our ancestors and those still here fighting for Black liberation.
