First of all I would like to thank everyone who has donated and taking the time to read this. My goal for This upcoming 2018 year I am planning to do a few QS 1000 events which will be taking me to Australia, Tahiti, Indonesia ,Japan, California and right back home. I love surfing, surfing is my passion. When I'm out in the water it feels so right I can't explain it. I don't compare myself to pro surfers or fellow surfers in general when I'm out in the water it's just me against myself and that's what I love about this sport. I don't want to be known for someone who just gets handed things I want to be known for a pound for pound putting in the time grinding it all the way to the top. Just put me at the bottom and let me do my thing. Every day I am training for this I am either running strengthening my lungs, working on balance, doing breath holding drills before I go to sleep or doing body strength and conditioning. I've learned nothing in life gets handed to you or coming easy and you have to work for it and I'm willing to put in the work for it. I want it. My dream is to really just show my friends, family and the younger generation that no matter how old you are no matter what you're doing in life if you have a dream just go after it, don't listen to anyone what they have to say because in the end it's your life and are you really going to let someone's opinion alter your fate? I've lost many friends and family to drugs and alcohol so I also really want to use these blessings and opportunities as a platform in a way to bring awareness to show my peers that even if you find yourself struggling deep in the hole, don't think of it as you're in a hole think of it as that's your foundation and build up from there. You can do everything you put your mind to and you can do anything you put your heart to. The money donated will be used for flights, food, surf equipment needed, contest fees and also I want to give back and work on some projects at villages and with local families at these places I'll be visiting.
