GO Lincoln Mtn Biking Team & Club!

The Lincoln Mtn Bike Team and Club is a public school co-ed program focused on mountain bike skills, competition, trail maintenance and advocacy, and fostering appreciation of the outdoors. The Lincoln Consolidated School District is in a high poverty area, which often creates a financial barrier for interested youth to participate in our activities. With 71% of the district eligible for free and reduced lunches and 39% of families with school-aged children below the poverty line (twice that of the national average), we struggle to maintain our program with minimal impact on the families. All students are welcome from 6th through 12th grade, boy and girl.

We strive to be an inclusive and accessible team, providing scholarships, loaner bikes, and overnight camping gear to riders in need.

Our mission is the positive development and mentoring of young men and women through mountain biking with a focus on health, fitness, leadership, teamwork, and community.

Your donation will contribute towards expenses required for maintenance of mountain bikes (expendable items such as chains, tubes, tires, etc.), safety equipment (helmets, eye protection, hydration, etc.), tools and repair equipment, team league fees, and help offset the cost of uniforms. Additionally, contributions make it possible to provide scholarships for students’ league and race fees, dependable loaner bikes and equipment for students who do not own a competition bike, and in other ways that will make the sport more accessible to all students regardless of family situtation.
