Ammanuel's Summer Internship Fund

First of all thank you for taking the time to read this. I am creating this gofundme page in order to rasie money in order to attend a medical internship in Europe this summer granted to me by the Atlantis Project. In order to go on this trip however their are costs. 

I remember the moment that I decided that I wanted to become a doctor. I was on a mission trip to El Salvador with my high school. I was gven the opportunity to follow a nurse around the village we were working in and watch her care to pregnant mothers and mothers who had recently had children. Previous to this moment I was on the fense of whether or not this was the life journey that I wanted to go down. The nurse would come to the homes of these mothers because they could not afford the trip to the hospital. This showed me that I not only want to be a doctor but I want to dedicate my work to working with people that are in desperate need of help, whether that be in this country or another.

Medical school is not easy to get into. It takes good grades and dedication. In addition to that they look for people that show an interest in the field. This program, in addition to being a wonderful experience, is a chance for me to show the future schools that I will be appying to that I am whole heartedly dedicated to my mission of becoming a doctor. 

Now I'm sure you're wondering where the money will be going. The money will be used to pay the the doctors that I will be shadowing, housing and food, a MCAT prepatory course, and the flight there and back.
