Chadio's Cancer Fund

In November 2016 I was having trouble going poop so I went to the doctor and got some blood work and stool tests done that did not show that there was anything serious going on, but I was still having lots of trouble going to the bathroom. My visits to the doctor went on for just under a year until I was able to get booked in for a colonoscopy in late October 2017. The colonoscopy showed a large tumor in my rectal cavity as well as some polyps, and I was diagnosed with rectal cancer. To make things worse, the drugs they gave me 30 years ago, to beat my Leukemia I had when I was 5 years old, are the direct cause of why I am having to go through cancer again. Bummer! (literally)

The pain is pretty bad. I am on pain medication 24/7 and have to stay on top of taking them because if I forget, it really hurts. As a result, I’ve had to take time off of work until this is sorted. Some of the medication makes me super tired, which isn’t the worst side effect, but having a demanding, service-industry job that requires more energy than I have at the moment, isn’t going to help me recover any faster.

I was to start pre-operative chemotherapy and radiation treatment beginning January 2018 for 5 weeks, 5 days a week, in hopes to shrink the tumor before they operate, but I have decided to forgo that option for the time being and see if I can beat it naturally, using a cannabis oil treatment, along with some massive supplemental, dietary and lifestyle changes. I have already started to notice major pain relief from being on the cannabis oil, suppository medications aren’t always the most comfortable, but it is definitely helping with my pain. The plan with the oil is to build my body’s tolerance level up over the course of a month, which is what I’m doing now, until I’m consuming 1 gram of the oil per day. This keeps up for 90 days by which point the cancer should no longer be in my body. I will be getting more CT and MRI tests done at this time to see what effect the oil had on the tumor and cancer. The medication is taken as a suppository as well as orally, to achieve maximum efficiency.

Some good news is that the cancer seems to be contained to that one area and has not spread any further, according to the CT and MRI’s that have been done but, due to the size and location of the tumor, the surgeon still wants to do chemotherapy and radiation before operating, which can have some pretty bad side effects (like dying). Also, if we go the doctor’s route, I will also have to have a colostomy bag for at least a period of time, if not forever.

Knowing what my options are, I am going to pursue this natural method for at least a couple of months, and with the help of a naturopath, for dietary and supplemental planning, I feel more confident about going this route than the traditional way, if for nothing else than as a personal experiment. I am not opposed to doing things the hospital’s way, I just feel that if I have the option to try something else first, and it has worked for many other people then why not try it?

I am hoping with this fund, to alleviate some of the stress of being able to keep my bills paid, food on the table, meds in my system, and to be able to get the necessary tests done when the time comes while I am healing and unable to work. I have no insurance except for basic MSP, which does not cover any of my medication or Naturopath appointments. Employment insurance does not cover much and only lasts for 10 weeks. I am hoping to be back to normal by summertime, but this is a best-case scenario. I will be posting updates whenever I can, thank you for taking the time to read, manifest those vibes for your boy, I know with everyone’s help I’ll be able to kick this thing’s ass once again and be back in no time at all.

Love you all!!!
