STATEWIDE BABY SHOWER PENINSULA

Sometimes things don't always turn out as we invision them. And sometimes we find ourselves all alone in a new situation with no one willing to help guide us through. Being a mom is a huge adjustment and babies come with no instructions. Being a single mom makes this twice as hard because everything falls on you. My compassion for single moms and my love for children is why I want these women to feel special and to know that someone loves them no matter the reason surrounding their situation; and the love and support goes far beyond this one day.
Last year, one of the moms who attended our first statewide baby shower later found herself searchng for a new place to live and needed coats for her children. The Acts Movement was able to help her and provide new coats for both children. One mom who delivered a few months after attending our first baby shower developed complications and her baby had to remain in the hospital after the mom was discharged. The Acts Movement was able to visit them in the hospital and pray for them there.
So not only are we helping to give these moms and babies a great beginning, but we are also providing a community; a network of support that will be able to mentor, encourage, and direct them emotionally and spiritually. And all the funds raised will go toward educating these ladies and taking care of their babies. It really does take a village to raise a child and we need you to join us in reaching our goal as we share the love of Christ. The Acts Movement is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and your donations are tax deductible.
