I'm writing to ask your support for my next project.
50 Ways... a new play inspired by Paul Simon's #1 hit 50 Ways to Leave your Lover has been accepted to the Capital Fringe in Washington, DC.
Yana and Samir are creating this production building on over a decade of creative collaboration. This original one-hour play stitches together 50 one-minute scenes of lovers leaving and being left. It will premiere on July 18th at the Capital Fringe Festival in D.C. is a bridge to the Canadian Fringe Circuit.

Mounting plays can be expensive.
Especially, when you're producing 50 vignettes, with six actors, their scripts, costumes, and sets. Like, for instance, the going rental rate for a prop door is $250 a day...a day!!! - (and you really need a door to leave a lover). Also the plan is to rehearse it in DC so there will be at least $300 spent on travel expenses (and that's by bus ;)
After more than 20 years of creating theater we are still amazed by how much having Producers help. Sure, shoestring productions can happen but with Producers' backing productions move to the next level. Which is where you, OUR COMMUNITY, comes in. With proper archiving, fantastic set design, more time for rehearsal, and generally elevating the experience for everyone involved.
