Dear Friends and Family,
We are the Odyssey of the Mind (OM) team from Central Grade
School. OM is a problem-solving competition where you make a skit about the problem you have chosen. There are three levels of competition: Regionals, States, and Worlds. We won first in Regionals which sent us to States. Then we tied for second at States which put us in the Worlds! We are super excited!
We chose the problem, Mockumentary…Seriously?! We based our skit on the classic Peter Pan. We worked very hard to make our backdrops, costumes, and script. We did this all with no adult help.
Worlds is at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. Altogether, it will cost us about $7500 for lodging, food, and travel. We would all be excited and grateful if you helped out with a donation to help pay for the trip. Thank you!
