Tracey shot the unicorn!

For those of you who have been wondering how we can help Tracey...now is our chance.

In Dec 2016, Tracey went into hospital to have what we hoped would be a simple fibroid removal. She awoke having had a complete hysterectomy. While she knew this was a possibility, of course the hope was for different. Pathology reports came back indicating cancer cells and it was believed all margins were clear. Phew!!!

Almost a year to the day later, after successful rechecks and a clear physical, Tracey began to feel discomfort and no one knows their body like she does...she began to investigate.
By January of 2018, it was found that the cancer had returned. Oral chemotherapy was prescribed but by February, deemed to not be doing it's job.
Tracey began a 3 month treatment plan of an iv administered chemotherapy (in conjunction with the oral)  and this one was completed at the end of May, with little success to resolving her diagnosis.
As additional chemo treatments are not an option, and Tracey does not qualify for any of the clinical trials, they are going to take matters into their own hands.
Like they say folks...if you want something done right...ya gotta do it yourself.
After days of research and speaking to others who have been in Tracey's situation , Tracey and Lee have decided to try an alternative cancer treatment in Mexico. The people they have spoken to have had successful results for many years to follow!
They will be leaving as soon as possible and are just getting medical records and travel arrangements in order. Treatment is 21 days with no treatment on Sundays so approximately 25 days from start to finish.
They are still sorting out the details of whether or not Gabi and Nathan will join them there for some of the time, but their tight knit family will be figuring this out together.
With the expense of the treatment, travel, accommodations and the time off of work Lee will need to be with Tracey, this is one way we can all help to ease the burden of all they are dealing with.

Unicorns and pots of gold at the end of the rainbow are thoughts of Tracey's past...as sweet as they were...she's changed into her battle gear! This WARRIOR is going to win.

If possible, if we can help with the finances, Tracey can focus solely on healing and kicking Cancer's ASS...and Lee can focus on Tracey.

Anything you can give will be a great help to this incredible family.

Let's all do this together!

Thank you!
