HELP THE KAP STAFFERS FIRED BY THE QLD PREMIER
This week, four diligent parliamentary staffers were dismissed by the QLD Premier, losing their jobs through no fault of their own.
Annastacia Palaszczuk, the Labor Premier demanded that the Katter’s Australian Party (KAP) condemn the "immigration plebiscite" speech made by Fraser Anning, the federal KAP senator.
KAP refused. In retaliation, Annastacia Palaszczuk withdrew the funding of 4 parliamentary staffers assigned to assist the KAP. She effectively sacked these non-political employees because of who they worked for!
It is unprecedented in Australian politics for a government to punish innocent staffers, so as to hurt another political party for having a different position. Conor, John, Brad, Jo and their families are now the latest political victims in our out-of-control political system. With no warning, these four families are now without an income.
Despite a federal election just around the corner, the Katter’s Australian Party is asking their supporters and decent Australians, to donate to this welfare fund.
All funds will assist in rent-breaking fees, refinancing mortgages, the payment of bills and the buying of groceries.
