TV Sitcom Pilot shot in Hartford

I'm a producer/writer looking to raise funds for a proposed TV sitcom based loosely on my life working at a local news station. The pilot episode will be shopped to different streaming services in the hope of producing the actual series in Hartford rather than Hollywood. Residents of the city and the rest of Connecticut will be first priority in creating jobs if the series is picked up. 

Pre-production has already started and we have an award winning director (Mike Mongillo) already attached to the project. We also have several celebrity cameos with CT talent (actor Chris Lemmon has expressed interest in playing the part of the CEO). 

We also have several local film organizations helping to make this project a reality. Most of the talented crew have years of experience working in films and television and are already in place. 

If the funds are raised within the next two months, we intend to be shooting by late November or early December. 

This is a dream I've had for several years and I really believe the project will eventually morph into good paying jobs and revenue for the City of Hartford. 

Should the series be picked up and produced here, The Hartford Film Commission is planning on creating a school for city residents to learn the art of film-making and television production. They will can gain valuable credit and experience while working on in-state productions. Once they graduate, Hartford residents would have first choice at production jobs (regular or freelance).

Please help me to see this passion become a reality, not just for myself, but for many creative artists who would also benefit from this ambitious goal.
