Hello, we are Coco & Jojo. Jojo was diagnosed with Secondary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis in 2007 and since then his condition has progressed aggressively. First symptoms were a simple trip and fall to now beign wheelchair bound.
We were happy living in our Silverlake neighborhood with all the benefits of living in a city until two days before Christmas. Due to developers, we were asked to leave our cozy apartment so that it could be demolished to build luxury condos.
On top of that, on her way to work on wed august 15th, Coco was T-Boned by a distracted driver. Our only mode of transportation was completely totaled. We're about to move far away and the work commute is going to be long. This woman totally ruined our trusty, low milage car of 6 years, recently paid off last month.
We are in the need of a water proof wheelchair, a padded gym table for Jojo's physical therapy and some kind of cargo or mini-van to load up with my motorized wheelchair. Doctor's visits will still be in Los Angeles (60 miles away).
