Dr. Michael Royce Lynch Memorial

On Tuesday, August 7, 2018 the culinary industry lost a vital member and mentor, Dr. Michael Royce Lynch, whom passed away in his home. Dr. Lynch held several degrees in organizational leadership, food law and hospitality management. He dedicated his life to teaching and mentoring others in his field having been an instructor for Argosy, Hillsborough Community College, The Art Institute of Tampa, Cumberland University, University of South Florida and University of Florida. Dr. Lynch also founded The Cooks Club of Tampa Bay, a non-profit organization to aid students in gaining real world experience for their resume.
This fundraiser is to help cover costs of a memorial service and to set up a scholarship fund at the Art Institute of Tampa for culinary students.
The memorial service is scheduled for September 1, 2018 at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Tampa, Florida.
Faculty Instructor for The Cooks Club of Tampa Bay and the Art Institute of Tampa, Louise Maier will be handling the final expenses and arrangements for the service and set up of the scholarship.
