Vulnerability. Surrender. Reaching out for help. All of which have not been easy for my mom during her lifetime, but now, are absolutely essential.
On April 2018, my mom's greatest passion of producing fashion shows in New York and Los Angeles came to a screeching halt.
My mom is raising 3 of us on a single income right now. Due to her injury on a Friday afternoon, my mom was badly injured. My mom has dedicated her life to helping others, I remember some of the most amazing things my mom has done for others. I remember when she saw a car get hit in the middle of the Highway, she immediately pulled over to have my brother and I help push this lady car out of the way of the on-going traffic so the women would not get hit again. She waited with this woman assuring her that help was coming and she didn’t leave until help came. I remember going to church and my mom saw a woman with no shoes, she asks the women what size did she wear, my mother gave this woman her shoes. I have an amazing mother she has helped so many people from suicided counseling to encouraging models that they are beautiful and can walk the walk. She always has something encouraging to say. She is the reason why I am alive today when the doctor told her to call our family to say their goodbyes to me. She said, "No my son will walk out of this hospital with me and I am not leaving his side, God has never let me and my family down”. She never asks for anything and having raising three of us by herself she is now in need of your help. My mom has sustained injuries from an accident that left her with major injuries. With medical bills piling up, to traveling to the doctors and using all of her savings to take care of us. She is now in need of your love and support. We are asking for your support through these trying times. My mom is left with extraordinary pain, after surgery. Now my mom has to rebuild strength in her hip, foot, and back. She has to heal for more than 2-years. After a slow year financially, which is typical for the fashion business. Now faced with little to no income, mounting medical and rescue bills, in addition to her regular living expenses and a bevy of health-related supplements and products recommended by her health professionals. She did not get a chance to earn even 1 full paycheck from busy-season which starts in October and goes through February.
I am personally asking you to help my mother, for those that know her she is a loving and kind woman and would help anyone she can.
