Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our campaign!
We are a nonprofit group of men and women who are in need of help. As historians and active participants in Civil War reenactments, we portray an artillery unit during that pivotal time of our countries development. Recognizing both sides of the struggle, we portray both Federal and Confederate military units. All members furnish their own equipment and bear the cost of travel and associated event registration fees. We are all accepting of these expenses, but need help with one matter if we are to continue to teach history and pay homage to those who fought this pivotal struggle.
The cannon we use for our reenactments was owned by our late Captain who passed away in 2016. His widow has generously donated the trailer used to transport this gun, but is in need to be compensated for the cannon and accoutrements needed to operate the gun. We are asking for your help in doing this so we may continue to honor those who bravely fought and to teach future generations about this important time of American History.
