Can't beat a fighter!

It has been a brutal start to my junior year in college after being forced to transfer from my previous school due to its closing because of its financial situation. I had an emergency visit to the hosptial and after a series of tests, I was given some very tragic news. I was diagnosed with stage III cancer.  It was then found to have been very far along. This would come as a surpise to anyone. I created this page in hopes that those who know me would help me gather some funds to help pay for some of my expenses as I go through my Chemo treatments. I appreciate everyone who is willing to help me through these hard times.

A little about myself,

I was born and raised in the Dominican Republic. Moved with my family to the United States in 2013. Since my arrival I have committed to many different activities. Played for the Lawrence Basketball team for three years, as well as Boys Volleyball for three years. Those three years of involvment within the high school sports level, taught me a new meaning of work ethic and a new definition to the meaning of family. Stepping out of Lawrence high school I then took the biggest step of my life. I decided I would be attending Mount Ida college. Two satisfying years full of new friendships and great connections, was quickly brought to and end. Mount Ida announced that they would be closing down. This meant I would no longer be a Mustang. My next chapter would consist of reuniting with some old friends/teammates. The story would continue at Lasell college where I would be known as a Laser. Life here was very comfortable at first, living with my long time friends and being around good people. Shortly into my new found home, is when I recieved the bad news. I continue to live on campus, as it keeps me closer to friends and in a normal lifesytle.
