Last week Rape Crisis was informed by our largest funder that because of the Government shutdown, we would not be receiving any money until the Government opens up.
Sadly, all of our employees were furloughed on Friday.
Yet this morning here we are, opening our doors and answering our phones. We plan to stay open as long as we can, serving victims who desperately need us.
