misty's surgery

on feb 2, 2019 our beloved family member (dog to others) Misty was struck by an automobile at approximately 7:00 pm Saturday evening. I was informed by a knock on the door provided by a random individual, I raced into the streets in the pouring rain to discover Misty laying on the floor, she was unable to move as a result of the injuries she sustained and I could sense her discomfort as I lifted her in my arms in an attempt to rush her to the veterinarian. upon arrival and examination, it was determined that Misty had suffered one broken leg , multiple-pelvic fractures in four different places and would require surgery, I was informed that it would cost me $8,000 if I elected to have the surgery performed, short of financial resources I began to search for other options as well as opinions. every other opinion has been surgical with estimates ranging from $10,000 - $15,000 all of which surpass the initial $8,000 medical treatment that I am unable to afford as I (like most people) do not have such funds at my disposal. I am in such dire straits that I have even sought estimates from procedures in Mexico which I  can not comply with due to my economic situation misty is more than just a dog. I would do anything in my power to ensure that she continues to be part of my  family, unfortunately I simply do not have the money necessary for the surgery she requires. I am sure that every individual that has ever formed a bond with their four-legged canine can attest to its strength and unconditional love as well as the sorrow and pain that overcome us in times of their agony. All of the money raised on this website will be used exclusively for Misty's surgery in hopes that she is able to recuperate from injuries she sustained from the automobile collision. If I am unable to secure the money needed for the surgery, I will, unfortunately, be forced to euthanize her and my wrenches at merely the thought of that outcome, I hope that this  pain  is never experienced by anyone else.  imagine the sorrow that my family and I are experiencing.
