Help with our culinary dream to teach others

8 years ago I decided it was time to start following my dreams and opened my own business as a traveling chef to teach people how to cook in their homes. Cooking has been my passion for as long as I can remember and I saw an opportunity to possibly make a living out what I loved to do. I'm proud to say that I have recently publish my own cookbook and while I am extremely proud of these accomplishments, they do not bring in a fully sustainable income. To supplement I have been working for Uber, Lyft and Instacart which are ok for extra cash but not enough to survive. It also took so much of my time that it pulled focus away from my business and what I loved to do.
Now for the reason I am here, my husband and I have been presented with a chance to buy a successful cooking school were I would be able to continue to live my dream and push it even further. The school itself has been growing for the past 11 years and has a wide variety of cooking classes that we love and want to expand.
To buy the school we are applying for an SBA loan, but need to show we have a deposit on the loan. We don't have the personal funds for this which is why we have started this go fund me. We are hoping to raise the funds in the next month to get the process going, we can't submit the application until we have a deposit ready.
Buying this school would not only expand my business as it already has an established customer base but open the doors to be able to give back to the amazing community that we live in. Topher, my husband, has years of experience in the food industry himself as a server, bartender and Manager and will be my business partner, together we can split the duties so I can run & develop classes and my chefs' teaching skills and he will help run the office.
Being able to provide a down payment is the biggest hurtle we need to overcome in purchasing the school, once we have that we can start to realize some of our business and personal goals. Thank you in advance for your help and support.
