Restoring what was stolen

PLEASE HELP!!!
As you know Ray is an amazing photographer. He was so excited to be taking shots during our recent climb up Mount Chirripó.
However, his camera case got stolen just before our hike, right from the overhead compartment as we were riding the bus.
When we stopped at the food stop, Ray immediately got up to take his camera, not wanting to leave it unattended...as you can imagine that equipment is not cheap.
It was then that he noticed it was missing. Whoever stole it had to be experienced, since we were sitting right there near the bag. They must have quickly exited out the backdoor & passed it off to someone else.
This was taken shortly after we realised what had happened. As you can see, Ray is quite disheartened.

I feel awful that this has happened and I want to quickly start raising enough money to replace what was stolen.
First, let me say a big thanks for all your encouraging words so far in response to Ray's camera bag being stolen.
We both learned to value people and experiences over physical items.
But the camera represented more than a passion and a hobby, it was a source of income.
The monetary value of what was stolen also represented years of hard work and dreaming, saving up to purchase them.
Over the course of the weeks and months ahead I will be promoting his wall portraits (link below) and raising funds through this page. If something catches your eye in the gallery, let me know. We will have it made and delivered to your home. If you would rather just contribute funds, that can be done through this page or by another arrangement (contact me to arrange).
If you have a wedding or portrait shoot scheduled with him, don't worry, he plans to rent the equipment for your special day.
To the triathlon community, my goal is to have his equipment replaced by the start of the season (June).
