SMCC Green Team

Please help support the St. Michaels Community Center grow their "Green Team" Program.  Local children from kindergarten age begin a journey of understanding about planning, growing, harvesting, preparing, preserving and serving nutritionally healthy food. From the youngest Bean Sprouts (K-2) to our full-fledged farmer/cooks (grades 3 - 5, The Green Team), local farmers, educators and volunteers guide them through all phases of food sustainability.

This year we hope to have our students participate in sharing their produce, plants, baked goods and other food items  at the Local Farmer's Market and Fundraising Events.

Any donation you can make to help us build this incredibly valuable life experience would be GREATLY appreciated!
