About Us:
Diamond Bar PONY Baseball is a volunteer run, non-profit organization serving the communities of Diamond Bar, Phillips Ranch, Pomona, Walnut and all surrounding local cities.

History:
Diamond Bar PONY Baseball has been in its current location since 1966 when it was originally called Diamond Bar Little League. The fields are named after their founder, Mr. Stevens, who dedicated the land to the league so the children of our community could always have a place to play baseball.

Mission Statement:
To provide every child in our community the opportunity to participate in America's favorite pastime of baseball. It is our aim to provide an environment that enhances the participants' self-esteem, physical mobility, and embodies the spirit of teamwork and community.

What Happened:
At approximately 3:15 a.m. Monday, March 18, the unimaginable occurred: A fire was started in the portable restroom and the flames spread to our snack bar. Fortunately, the fire department was able to extinguish the fire but not before causing a devastating loss for our league. The snack bar suffered considerable damage to its structure and roof deeming it too dangerous to be inhabited. The moment the red tag was taped to the wall, the league knew we would be in it for the long haul.

This loss is a significant blow to the league as it is our main source of revenue. However, as heartbreaking as this incident is, members of the community have shared that the snack bar is also a source of nostalgia. Many people have shared stories of when they played baseball at the fields and looked forward to having a hot dog, snow cone, or a heaping of chili cheese fries after the game. Many members fondly remember manning the fryer and selling candy and chips to the players during games. Some members were even part of the $35,000  snack bar rehabilitation by helping to repaint the interior and exterior walls, adding a new tiled floor, upgrading the cabinets and countertops, and adding recessed lighting.

For over fifty years the snack bar has been at the center of all activity taking place at the baseball fields. It has welcomed anyone who had an appetite for good old fashioned ball park food. Now, all that stands is a hollow shell of what has been the pride of Diamond Bar PONY Baseball.

We have been fortunate to receive an outpouring of support from not only our league members but from the community as well. Many people have asked how they could help as we go through this difficult time. To start, any donation you can provide will help and will be most appreciated! This GoFundMe page will help to carry us through the rest of the season as we work to rebuild the snack bar and make our fields a safe place for our players.

How You Can Help:
You can help by donating to our GoFundMe. The funds raised here will help to offset the cost of repair to the snack bar that insurance may not cover.
You can help by donating directly to our league. We will have our "Diamond Bar Pony Baseball Fund" box out at our snack bar tables at every weekday and Saturday game.
You can help by donating a case of water, soda, or Gatorade, or other individually wrapped food items that we can sell at our snack bar table.
You can help by purchasing from our snack bar table located outside of the board trailer between fields 1 and 2.

Thank you for support!
