Hello I've started this for two amazing people who are going through some absolutely terrible times.
Recently they had to put down their fur baby Inu (18 years) as his age had finally caught up with him which took a massive toll on their already shaky finances due to a mixture of mental health/surgery/chronic illness/unemployment. But he was their baby and they could not let him hurt anymore.
Just afterwards they were given the call about owing back rent and being issued an eviction notice if that is not paid in full. Which meaning everything altogether would equal $4,000.00
Both Lucy and Des have been through the ringer in the last few years due to surgeries and chronic illnesses that have been adding a stress and weight to their lives that they have been trooping through as best they could.
They are currently in the middle of applying for disability due to Des's health due to being unable to work, and neither of their family's are able financially to help them nor would they be able to offer shelter if they were evicted. As it's still deep in winter in Vermont, being homeless at this point is a dire option for them both.
They are both the kindest, most hard working people I know and any help for them would be a blessing.
