My message is simple. I need your help to stave off the inevitable.
As you all know, I have been battling ALS for the past two and a half years to the best of my ability. Thus far my efforts have been somewhat successful.
Positive thoughts, love and support from you all have kept my spirits up. Will, fierce determination and desire to live along with wanting to see my boys grow up has kept me fighting along the way.
Unfortunately sheer will and determination is not enough. As I feel my muscles slowly wasting away and my strength quickly deteriorating, I now need to engage in additional measures fast to continue this fight and give me a strong chance to survive.
I need stem cell therapy treatment. There has been some positive headway in this arena and it’s proving to put some folks into homeostasis and possibly even reversal. This gives me hope! The reason stem cell therapy isn’t further along is that it can take up to 10 years to get through the proper channels but they are close. A PAL (person with ALS), whom I’ve become very friendly with has undergone extensive stem cell treatments. Within 4 months of the treatments and a massive detox and healthy diet, he improved considerably, rather than degrading. This is not supposed to be possible with ALS. As a result, this PAL has continued down this positive path of treatments. He truly believes that this holistic approach along with the stem cell therapy treatments has slowed or completely stopped the “motor neuron death." Full article here
Unfortunately, I have been unable to work consistently these past several years (most of you know) while battling this illness and now I need your assistance if I’m going to have a shot at this. It takes considerable time and money to undergo these types of treatments that I am seeking, and unfortunately, it is a costly process that is not covered by insurance. I need to raise about $200K.
The time has come where I need to swallow my pride and ask for your help and financial assistance to move forward and have a shot at living.
