Lisa Beougher

Donation protected
This account is for our friend Lisa Beougher who needs our help right now. Lisa contracted a staph infection in late September which spread to her spinal fluid. The complications from this infection caused pressure on her spinal cord leading to emergency surgery. The spinal pressure led to Lisa being unable to feel or have control over her arms and legs. Currently Lisa has been diagnosed as a C4-C5 quadriplegic, and she has a trach tube helping her breathe. After fighting off several other infections in intensive care at Mercy in Sioux City, she has recently been moved to Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska.  Lisa has a long road of recovery ahead of her and many, many expenses to cover. At this time her prognosis is uncertain and changes almost daily. Lisa and Heath have three children being cared for in Sioux City. They are eleven-year-old Katie and five-year-old twins Jake and Ian. Lisa needs our help in so many ways, but the most important way we can assist her right now is financially. Anything you could give would help.

Additionally, we are looking for volunteers to go to Lincoln and stay overnight with her. Being in a strange place with little control over her body is overwhelming, and Lisa could use people with time to sit with her overnight.

We thank you in advance for any donations, prayers, or good vibes you could send.
