During the week 6-14 July 2019, Sydney will witness the largest festival of sacred music practitioners and enthusiasts ever gathered in Australia & NZ. Whatever your taste, age, or expertise in church music – be it Guitars, Choirs, Gospel, Organs or Chant – there will be something to truly INSPIRE!
Sydney inSpires will feature the largest number of internationally famous church musicians ever assembled at an Australian church music event, and will culminate with two major headline events: performances of JS Bach’s St Matthew Passion, and Prom Praise, both in the iconic Sydney Town Hall.
Although the committee is basically working full time to put this exciting event together on an honorary basis, the expenses associated with attracting international and national artists of this calibre and securing the venues is daunting. We hope to raise the money we need to break even on this ambitious venture by the end of June.
If you would like to make a financial contribution towards the conference in addition to enrolling, or if you are unable to attend but still wish to support the event, hundreds of church musicians and their congregations would be extremely grateful for your support!
