Fundraising for Kyanu's healthcare

This is Kyanu Andresen, age 9 currently and supposedly diagnosed with complex partial epilepsy. My husband Chad and I (Dawn) have taken precautionary measures and steps when it comes to our son's health and treatment. However, he had been hospitalized on Guam and in the Philippines for approximately 3 months highly medicated with a result of him taking 4 different types of epilepsy medications. He has been out of school due to the fact that his medications have common side effects and when his body tends to get serious side effects it leads to seeking medical attention immediately when it does occur. We had taken our son to the emergency room on 2 occasions due to him developing a high fever part of May which we managed to subside, then part of this month (June) he had developed chest and sinus congestion, irregular breathing, swelling on both hands, terrible coughing, and deep state of sleep--he had a chest x-ray and blood work completed on him which results showed normal. We decided to set an appointment with his primary Pediatrician and he was prescribed antibiotics to assist with his current symptoms. We have put a halt to his physical rehabilitation due to his situation. We are in the process of getting him a wheelchair due to him having physical difficulties with walking and being unbalanced. However, we have been back and forth with him seeing a Neurologist and his primary Pediatrician which has been a complete roller coaster ride for us and still not aiding to what is essential for our son's health and care. He had recently completed blood work for his Neurologist that was required which showed signs of hypothyroidism which the information was faxed to his primary Pediatrician and told he would now need to see an Endocrinologist for that result. Although, this information was passed and blood work showed significant evidence of hypothyroidism, according to the Endocrinologist which a nurse had to inform us on is that our son would have to go through another process of doing blood work, see his primary Pediatrician (follow up appointment), and wait on whether our son will be able to see the Endocrinologist or not depending on his blood work result showing signs of hypothyroidism. We are at a breaking point where--we have no other options with how our son's current status is being taken from these doctors, nurses, and specialists that regardless of proven facts and results our son will have to continuously be put through many procedures with a lengthy process to conclude what is essential. We need financial assistance for our family to benefit our son and his siblings upon receiving a suitable healthcare and set of medical professionals who will actually assist with finding ways that will work for our son's current diagnosis. We will be relocating our family to Wyoming and humbly ask for your support.
