I am blessed to oversee Cynthia's Breast Cancer Giving Circle (CBCGC) 9 years now. Being a cancer survivor and going through the journey twice, I totally understand the challenges it may present along with learning to embrace a new lifestyle after cancer treatment.
Our mission at CBCGC is to provide hope by relieving the mental stress and financial hardship to breast cancer or other cancer patients/survivors who are going through medical treatment (women and men). By supporting the patients in this manner it helps to reduce possibilities of eviction, utility services being disconnected or bankruptcy, which could result in being homeless. Your donation will have a direct impact into the lives of many.
I moved out of my home 6 years ago to care for my mother who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Now I desire to open my home as a gift for the purpose of serving the cancer patients in a different way. In addition to the Financial Assistance Program, new services will include establishing a resource room, rest & relaxation room, and offer healthy lifestyle choices for prevention of health conditions. My hope is that the overall experience will be an environment that is warm and inviting with a unique touch of love, while they’re on the journey of healing.
