Overwhelming final expenses

Donation protected
Our mother, Bobbie Ann Randall, passed from our world to the next on Sunday, September 1st after being hospitalized for 63 days and enduring a painful and overwhelming battle to try to get well.

Watching a parent lose ground and eventually pass away is devastating in and of itself. Additionally  mom did not even have a prepaid burial plan. We were also informed that since mom has no spouse, the $255 Social Security money that is normally paid out upon death is also unavailable to us, her adult children.

While we have already been blessed with a charity from the Saint Luke’s Hospital towards funeral costs, it does not cover all the expenses. Additionally we have not yet received her medical bills from the 63-day hospital stay!

We are overwhelmed in our grief.

If you would like to contribute to assist us in this burden, in lieu of flowers, we would deeply appreciate it!

Either way, we ask that all who read this please think of your loved ones. Please purchase a burial plan and/or an insurance policy for your family!

Thank you for sharing your love and care to our mother, and to us, her children and grandchildren by assisting us during this challenging time.

Bobbie raised her two daughters in Lee’s Summit, MO and lived in Grain Valley the final years of her life.

The Celebration of Life Service will begin at 6:00 pm on Saturday, September 7 at Shelter House #7 at Lake Jacomo. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that people donate to their Go-Fund-Me page (gf.me/u/u56y54) to help pay for the rest of Bobbie’s final expenses since there was no insurance policy or pre-paid burial plans.
