Help Jenn’s family with funeral and other expenses

In the early hours on Wednesday, August 14th, our very dear friend, Jennifer Buher Kane, passed away far too soon from a mercilessly aggressive form of breast cancer. The world lost an accomplished researcher with so much yet to discover, a loyal friend, and a devoted wife and mother with so much yet to teach her precious young sons.
In the wake of this worst possible outcome, Jenn’s family faces a daunting transition. Her husband John, after fighting non-stop alongside Jenn for ten months, is now faced with substantial financial obligations while he must simultaneously restart his career. With a heavy heart, John has agreed to allow his friends to organize a next-phase Go Fund Me effort to help him and his boys get through this impossibly difficult time.
And so, in lieu of flowers or other shows of support as we near the time of Jenn’s memorial service (on August 25th), would you please consider contributing in whatever way you are able to help cover transitional expenses ranging from funeral expenses to COBRA insurance premiums to childcare?
