Help Keep The DOTC Going

Tax deductible
DRIVE One TechCenter is a Detroit-based 501(c)(3) that provides at-risk youth with vocational training in automotive technology, auto body, machining, welding, transportation design, & motorsports.

Founded in 2012 to help fill the skills gap following the 2008 recession, we have helped struggling high school students build a future for themselves, with 85% of our graduates either employed in the trade industry, enrolled in college, or serving in a branch of the armed forces.

Through the use of our 16,000 sq. ft. Technical Center in Roseville, Michigan, our students have the ability not only to develop a valuable skill-set, but participate in extraordinary projects and competitions.

Our student-built project cars have competed at shows across the country from the Grand National Roadster Show in California to the GoodGuys PPG Nationals in Ohio. Our Race Team has competed at some of racing's most hollowed grounds from Salem Speedway to Bristol Motor Speedway. Our Design students have even built miniature concept cars that have debut Axalta's Color of the Year at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

Our program relies heavily on the support of community partners and organizations that are committed to seeing the next generation of technicians, machinist, welders, and designers grow.

However, many grants and sponsorship provided by our partners are not allowed to fund the upkeep of our state-of-the-art facility, including utilities like HVAC, Electrical, Phone/Internet, and more.

For this reason, we are seeking help from our program students, staff, sponsors, and their families to help cover these cost and continue providing area students with leading career technical education.

Your assistance will help us continue keeping at-risk students on the right path through professional training, career placement, and apprenticeship opportunities to keep them both out of poverty and out of debt.

We can only continue to do this through our own facility where students can cultivate without fearing bullying or drama, in an environment that suits them better than a traditional high school shop.

If even 500 people donate $20 each, we can keep our campus open for an entire year, and continue our mission and doing god’s great work.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at [email redacted], or visit our website at www.driveone.net.

We thank you for your time, and hope you can help us grant our at-risk youth the opportunities to succeed!
