A Christian Rehab House in Ukraine

Dear Friends,
Help us to raise needed funds for A Christian Rehabilitation House for men in Ukraine. The house (pictured) is available for purchase and is located in a village close (40 km) to the city of Kamyanets-Podilskyi, Ukraine.
It will be operated by local churches and volunteers. Similar houses are successfully operated in various regions throughout Ukraine, but nothing close to Kamyanets-Podilskyi. Pastors have to drive long distances to find treatment and accommodation for men who seek help.
Substance abuse is a serious problem in Ukraine. Especially men struggle with this issue. High unemployment, a country at war, unable to provide for their families and often even to find a place to live drives a lot of men into misery.
A Christian recovery house that offers residential treatment and compassionate care for up to a year, is desperately needed. The program will incorporate faith, physical work, counselling, personal assistance and give men the necessary tools to restore dignity and courage to live.
For people in Ukraine, Christian beliefs play a vital role in their lives. Their faith is an effective tool in fighting substance abuse. A Christian Drug Rehab House is one that allows men to practice their beliefs and draw strength from them.
The cost to buy this house is $5000.00 CAD. If we could raise more, this would help with remodelling and renovation of the house and property. There are several buildings and a large piece of land attached for gardens and agricultural use.
All funds raised in Canada will be transferred to the church in Kamyanets-Podilskyi, where pastor Boris Kotik is in charge of the project. If someone desires to volunteer and visit the project please let us know.
Me and my wife have visited in August this year Kamyanets-Podilskyi, and observed the work that is done there. We are impressed and would like to support and encourage them through raising as much as possible for this project.
