Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit DeafBlind students at Metro Deaf School , and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
Metro Deaf School is one of the leaders in the Education of DeafBlind students providing many accommodations and services for our students. One such accommodation is providing a video set up allowing a DeafBlind student to see more clearly what is happening during a presentation by viewing information on separate monitors. For this set up we need a quality video camera that allows a more stable zoom and focus.
I am asking for help in purchasing a Canon VIXIA HF G21 video which has all the features we need to provide full access to our DeafBlind students. Our budget will allow us to pay for half of the total price of $800. I am hoping to raise $450 through your generous support.
Our DeafBlind students benefit from this set up every morning and during larger assemblies.
Metro Deaf School, located in St Paul MN is the first Charter school for Deaf children. We serve Deaf, Hard of Hearing and Deaf-Blind students in grades Pre-K thru 12+. We promote academic excellence in Deaf Education using innovative bilingual and bi-cultural approach. Our primary goal is to help students develop a sense of identity and pride as Deaf citizens while providing them skills and knowledge to succeed in the hearing world. Our current enrollment stands over 110 students from MN and Western Wisc.
