Your donation will help us have more dance opportunities for professional dancers and social dancers in Western New York. New York is a huge state and New York City is 8 hours away from us. You help us bring NYC excellence in dance to Buffalo, NY!
The funds will go to being able to sustain lower rates for participation, help provide scholarships and workstudy opportunities and it will pay for the food we provide our artists. The funds also help us bring in internationally known guests artists to lead the workshop and performance.
We need the funds as soon as possible so we can start preparing for our March 11 workshop.
The support means we will keep bringing quality movement teaching to Buffalo and Western New York. The dancers and teachers in Buffalo and WNY will be able to grow and develop to better perform on stage and in the classroom and studio..
Mission Improvable is also a wonderful way to build our community. Getting together during the winter time in a positive learning and moving environment that gets us out of our warm and cozy hibernation mode to being out in the city to socialize and do our dance research with likeminded differently-minded people.
We are also able to widen our circles of connections. Many people leave the workshop with new job opportunities from networking at the event.
Every year that you have helped us we have been able to do more and create a better workshop! Every year that it is better means that we gather more volunteers, interns, workstudy people and sponsors! This year we are creating a temporary board of advisories just for this workshop. We could not have grown this way without your support over the years.
