Erin's Angels

www.erinsangels.com Erin's Angels was born out of a desire to turn a bad situation into something positive. The death of Erin Maxwell devastated Central New York and especially the Phoenix community. Knowing that one of the things that Erin suffered from was hunger, founder Sheila Dion set out to ensure that no kid goes hungry in her town again! Our mission is to mobilize the community, individuals and resources to provide food for kids in need. Every week grocery bags are packed with food for breakfast, lunch and dinner for the weekend for around 75 children in grades k-6th. We also provide relief with "break boxes" of food in the summer. Our goal one day is to be able to bring lunches M-F to outlying areas that cannot get to the free summer lunch program.
