Help Us Recover From Vandalism & Theft

On November 1st we took some friends hiking in the Gorge east of Portland, OR. All of us are artists and brought photography and editing equipment with us but some of it we made the tough choice to leave behind in the car in a busy parking lot.
Unfortunately someone had been watching us, saw exactly where we hid my laptop, and waited until the parking lot cleared to break into our car. They stole the following items:
1x HP Spectre x360 laptop 15", brand new ~$1600
1x HP tilt pen, brand new ~$50
1x photography gyroscope ~estimate pending
1 x Patagonia backpack with clothing and personal items -estimate pending
All of these things were sitting nearby the laptop; the vandals broke the window nearest where the computer was hidden, removed the seat to get to it, and grabbed whatever was nearest before leaving. They didn't even make it to the front of the car where the wallet was so we believe they were just after our electronics and watched us hide them so they knew where to go.
As the laptop is my hub of creativity (and therefore key in helping with my current depression) from where I do all of my blogging, editing, drawing, and more, having it stolen is like a painter whose had all of their materials stolen. This is also a critical time because I was just about to launch several blog & photography projects that really require me to have the mobility and capabilities that I had with my convertible laptop and now all of that is stalled and much of the art content is lost.
Our friends lost valuable equipment that stunts their creativity as well. Unfortunately we just learned that our auto insurance, though comprehensive, does not cover items stolen from the vehicle--only damage done to the vehicle to steal the items. Before this happened we'd already fallen on tough financial times with a sudden plot twist, and as such we're humbly reaching out for assistance to help us and our friends recover our losses so that we can move forward because it would be impossible for us to replace these on our own.
Any amount would be incredibly helpful and endlessly appreciated, thank you.
